Click HERE to request an application. At the end of the application families will have an opportunity to request a visit or attend an informational meeting. The board will review applications and families will be notified via email of their acceptance to the coop and any necessary next steps.

The board members all members of the local homeschool community and met through the Lake Wylie Community Bible Study or through other coops. They saw the need for a local cooperative that provided a safe space for homeschool families to learn, grow, and find community.

We are currently approved to have 125 people (parents and children) to attend on Thursdays. 

H.O.M.E. offers both core and elective courses for grades K-12..

Yes! We offer optional meetings, field trips, moms' nights out and more outside of our scheduled class day. These will be throughout the year and throughout the region in an attempt to accommodate all families in our community.  

Founding Members - $50 Registration Fee 

New Members - $75 Registration Fee 

Annual Family Membership Fee - $125 (due July 1, 2025)

Registration Fees are due within 7 days of acceptance to HOME. New members will be notified of their acceptance prior to requesting payment

There will be a $50 late fee applied if Annual Membership fee is paid after July 1, 2025

Each online payment will incur a $3 convenience fee to cover the cost to HOME for processing online . PLEASE ADD THE $3 PAYMENT FEE TO YOUR TOTAL PAYMENT.

There is no convenience fee applied to cash payments

All parents are asked to consider teaching a class, but there will be positions available as classroom assistants as well. Participating parents will be asked to work in a classroom (or nursery or preschool) for two out of three class periods. Parents will get to enjoy one free period to socialize with other coop parents. Parents are expected to remain on site for the entire coop time.

H.O.M.E. Coop meets weekly on Thursdays from 9am-1pm with cleaning responsibilities from 1pm-approximately 1:30. All families need to leave the premises no later than 2pm.

H.O.M.E. Coop meets from 9am-2pm. We have 3 periods that will end at 1pm. From 1pm-2pm there will be cleaning responsibilities and social time. 

H.O.M.E. meets at the Union Presbyterian Church located at 5615 Union Road in Gastonia.
