About Us
Our Purpose
H.O.M.E. is a Christian Homeschool Cooperative based in South Gastonia, NC. We are open to families from both NC and SC, and we meet at the Union Presbyterian Church at 5615 Union Road on Thursdays throughout the school year. We are not a school or a SC Third Option Group. We exist only as a cooperative association of parents committed to protecting and educating our children. When you participate in our co-op, all of our activities and meetings will be conducted with a New Testament Christian emphasis.
H.O.M.E. offers both core and elective courses for all ages from kindergarten through high school. Classes are taught by parent members of the cooperative. There is a nursery/preschool option for those who have at least one K-12 student with younger siblings.
We do not offer a drop-off option at this time.
Statement of Faith
We, the members of H.O.M.E. Co-op, in order to encourage the body of Christ, strengthen the family, spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, promote Christian ethical and moral behavior, and aspire to teach our children a Godly legacy, do ordain and establish a statement of faith that states first and foremost that we believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, inerrant, infallible, divinely preserved Word of God which constitutes completed and final revelation, and to be the sole and final authority for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, Psalm 119:89, Psalm 12: 6-7)

One of the beauties of homeschooling is the opportunities to socialize with like-minded people in the community. H.O.M.E. offers holiday parties, field trips, weekly play time, and even Moms Night Out.
